How Guinot Hydra Summum Feels on Your Skin

When a client tells me their skin feels thirsty or tight, the Guinot Hydra Summum Facial is often my first choice. It is a beautiful manual treatment that is highly concentrated in Hyaluronic Acid, so it plumps, smooths and deeply moisturises. It is wonderful for dehydrated skin, for women in peri or menopause, and for anyone feeling the effects of stress. Our skin and stress are closely linked, even if we do not always connect the two.

The experience

From the first cleanse your skin starts to relax. I begin with a gentle exfoliation that lifts away dullness without any harsh feeling. Skin already feels softer to the touch.

I then work a concentrated hyaluronic serum into the face, paying extra attention to areas where fine lines tend to sit. This part feels silky and comforting, like the skin is drinking a tall glass of water.

Next comes a two part massage. The first sequence helps release that tired, puffy feeling. The second brings back a lovely bounce and glow. Clients often tell me their shoulders drop and their breathing slows as the tension eases.

We finish with a cool gel mask that cocoon the skin. It feels fresh and soothing, and you can almost sense the moisture being sealed in. When I remove the mask the skin looks calm, dewy and smooth. Makeup glides on afterwards, although most clients prefer to enjoy the natural glow.

What you will notice

  • Deep hydration for comfort and radiance
  • A plumper look that softens fine lines
  • Smoother texture and an even, fresh finish
  • Support for the skin barrier to help limit water loss

My clients love how their skin feels during and after. You can see the plumpness, and you can feel it with your fingertips. If stress or hormones have left your complexion dull or tight, Hydra Summum brings it back to a balanced, healthy state.

Who it is perfect for

  • Dehydrated or moisture starved skin
  • Peri and menopausal skin that needs comfort and bounce
  • Anyone going through stressful times when the skin feels out of sorts
  • Regular Guinot skincare users who want an in salon boost of Hyaluronic Acid
