Hydr02 Oxygen Therapy

30 mins

Our HydrO2 Oxygen Therapy is a revitalising treatment that uses advanced oxygenation technology to refresh and restore the skin. As one of the seven stages in the HydrO2 Facial, this treatment can also be enjoyed on its own for clients looking for an instant glow. By using the Bohr Effect, the therapy stimulates oxygen release from within the body, improving blood flow, skin regeneration, and overall radiance.

What is It?

HydrO2 Oxygen Therapy works by creating a chemical reaction on the surface of the skin using a vibrating capsule with citric acid and sodium bicarbonate combined with a glycerol-based gel. This reaction produces carbon dioxide (CO2), which triggers the Bohr Effect – a natural process where oxygen is released from red blood cells and delivered to the skin. This internal oxygenation increases circulation, stimulates skin repair, reduces free radical damage, and leaves the skin looking clearer, brighter, and more youthful. It also provides antibacterial benefits, making it an effective option for congestion and blemish-prone skin.
This treatment is available as a course. Pay for 5 and get 6 treatments.

What’s Included

The treatment begins with exfoliation and preparation using the vibrating capsule system to activate oxygenation. The Bohr Effect then stimulates oxygen release within the skin, boosting hydration, blood flow, and cell renewal. The session finishes with professional products to calm, nourish, and protect the skin.

Who is it for?

HydrO2 Oxygen Therapy is ideal for clients seeking brighter, healthier-looking skin and is especially suited for those experiencing dullness, uneven texture, or congestion. It also benefits clients with blemish-prone skin thanks to its antibacterial effect, making it a versatile option for most skin types.

How long does it take?

An Oxygen Therapy session typically takes around 30 minutes when performed on its own, making it a convenient choice for a quick skin refresh.

How often will I need to visit?

For optimal results, we recommend treatments every 2 to 4 weeks, helping to maintain skin clarity, brightness, and long-term health.
