Try to arrive a few minutes early so you can settle. Avoid a heavy meal just beforehand, and let your therapist know about any recent pain, injuries or sensitivities.
What should I wear, and will I be covered during the massage?
You can undress to your comfort level, and you will be professionally draped with towels throughout. Only the area being worked on is uncovered at any time.
Is this a deep tissue massage?
It is primarily a relaxation-focused treatment with a slower pace and calming sensory support. Pressure can be increased where appropriate, but the aim is nervous system downshifting rather than intense corrective work.
Can you adapt the massage for specific areas like shoulders or lower back?
